Kaatje Kromhout

Kaatje Kromhout graduated in 2008 as a veterinarian from the University of Ghent.
Subsequently, she started her internship in Medical Imaging at the Medical Imaging
department of Pets and Orthopedics of Small Pets at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.
Since 2009 she has been there as a member of the CT-MRI unit for the daily examinations and
protocols. In January 2012 she also started working as a teleradiologist at the Veterinary Practice
Orion. At the beginning of 2016, she obtained a doctorate in veterinary sciences with her doctoral
research entitled "Comparison of magnetic resonance imaging and computed tomography for the
detection of specific brain and cervical spine abnormalities in small animals".
She is also responsible for protocols for MRIs and CTs at the Orion Veterinary Clinic

Chee Kin Lim DVM, BVSc(Hons), MMedVet (Diag Im), FMCVS (Vet Imaging),
Diplomate ECVDI, European Veterinary Specialist in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging


Dr. Lim graduated with a DVM from the Universiti Putra Malaysia and completed his veterinary
diagnostic imaging residency at the University of Pretoria, South Africa.
He passed both the South African and European veterinary diagnostic imaging specialist examinations,
obtaining his MMedVet (Diagnostic Imaging) degree and became a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging. He is also a Fellow of the Malaysian College of Veterinary Specialist.
Dr. Lim has served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Purdue University, USA since 2013.
He is currently the director of the ECVDI residency program at Purdue University and a member of the ECVDI Credentials Committee.
His clinical and research interests include ultrasonography, echocardiography and
CT imaging of trauma in small animals but never tires of looking at radiographs or MRI studies.
To date he has authored and co-authored over 30 peer-reviewed publications.
He also has a soft spot for delicious food, bubble tea and loves horror movies.


Frédéric Vlaemynck, DVM

Graduated from the National Veterinary School of Nantes, France in 2004.
In 2007, Dr. Vlaemynck co-found the CaduVet group, which now includes 10 veterinarians
dedicated to Exotics, deployed in 7 clinics over the northern France. Within CaduVet
he is the head of the Internal Medicine department. He is the coordinator of all the
medical procedures and the "House M.D." which gathers the teams around the most complex cases.
He is the author of several publications and has participated in reference books on Exotics,
he has also provided many lectures, from veterinary schools to international conferences.
Dr. Vlaemynck is one of the founders of the RevelNAC association, a network of Exotic
veterinarians throughout France promoting the development of the quality of care provided to
Exotics through the exchange of information between its members and communication
with all veterinarians. He is also a member of the ARAV (Association of Reptilian and
Amphibian Veterinarians) and the AAV (Association of Avian Veterinarians).


Cyril Chovet, DVM

Graduated from the National Veterinary School of Nantes, France in 2005.
In 2007, Dr. Chovet co-found the CaduVet group, which now includes
10 veterinarians dedicated to Exotics, deployed in 7 clinics over the northern France.
Within CaduVet he is the Practice Manager : he is in charge of monitoring
the development objectives of the group, and in collaboration with all practitioners
and technicians he ensures the quality of service for owners and customers.
He wrote several papers and provided lectures on the management of veterinary practices
in national journals and conferences. Dr. Chovet is one of the founders of the RevelNAC association,
a network of Exotic veterinarians throughout France promoting the development of
the quality of care provided to Exotics through the exchange of information between
its members and communication with all veterinarians. He is also a board
member of the Ergone association, a French think tank for veterinary entrepreneurship
bringing together veterinarians from all disciplines.
